The Chromatin and Ageing Laboratory has recently been established. Research will focus on these areas:
- Decoding epigenetic landscape of spatial ageing across organs and tissues.
- From a drop of blood—longitudinal analysis of epigenetics in human peripheral blood cells.
- Integrated analysis of functional ageing biomarkers in humans and different model organisms.
- Development of new computational approaches for 3-dimensional analysis of chromatin structure and organisation.
- Epigenetics of everything—biodiversity of Western Australia’s flora and fauna.
