Sponsor a Perkins major fundraising event

The Perkins manages three large scale fundraising events – Australia’s largest fundraising bike ride, the Cancer200 Ride for the Perkins in October, the Walk for Women’s Cancer every April and the Perkins Plunge every November. All three events are epic in nature and involve members of the community going to super-human ends to raise money for research into some of the hardest-to-treat cancers, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and rare genetic diseases.

The fundraising events rely on substantial cash and in-kind support from the corporate world for their success. If you would like to discuss opportunities to join as an event sponsor, please contact Tom Lang.

The MACA Cancer200 Ride for the Perkins is a 200km overnight journey from Perth to Mandurah and back.

Riders and their support teams raise money throughout the year to support research into the hardest-to-treat cancers.

This epic event is Australia’s largest charity bike ride and has raised over $56 million over the last 12 years.

You could be part of the action as a partner, sponsor or member of the Perkins Alliance, supporting the riders on their arduous journey for kinder treatments and better health outcomes for people living with cancer.

The New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer is a 35km fundraising walk around Perth, raising money to support research into cancers that particularly affect women, including breast cancer and ovarian cancer. The event takes place in April every year.

The Perkins Plunge powered by Mineral Resources is a 12-hour overnight swim relay event. Held at HBF Stadium, teams of eight or more raise funds to help WA’s best medical researchers beat the world’s toughest diseases. The inaugural event in 2024 saw 161 swimmers raise over $230,000! The marathon efforts of all Plungers was celebrated at the end of the 12-hour lap-a-thon with the Breakfast of Champions!

All three events rely on substantial cash and in-kind support from the corporate world for their success. If you would like to discuss opportunities to join as an event sponsor, please contact Tom Lang.
