I have over 30 years’ experience working in laboratories with a particular focus on cancer research. I have been working in the Aboriginal cancer space since 2016. I have significant and ongoing experience in project management with a focus on organisational and clinical data management. I have extensive experience in histological laboratory techniques with a particular expertise in tissue microarray construction and immunohistochemical staining techniques. I developed and now maintain several Microsoft Access databases used by me and others for data entry, data export, data queries and analysis. I am highly experienced in managing complex ethics applications from local, state and national HRECs. I have significant experience using the WA Department of Health RGS online system, the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare Ethos system as well as experience preparing and submitting applications to the specialist WA Aboriginal Health Ethics Committee.
