Mr Frank Cooper AO brings over four decades of distinguished experience in finance, accounting, and corporate governance to the Board. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Mr Cooper has built a highly respected career marked by leadership across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

He has served as Director of Alinta Infrastructure and Alinta Funds Management and was both Commissioner and Chairman of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia. His commitment to public service also includes roles on the University of Western Australia’s Strategic Resources Committee, the State Health Research Advisory Council, and the West Australian Football Commission. He also served as Pro Chancellor of the University of Western Australia.

Mr Cooper offers the Board exceptional financial and accounting expertise, deep knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance, and extensive experience in risk management and oversight. His background in listed company governance, capital management, and corporate development is complemented by a strong focus on organisational values and ethical leadership.

In recognition of his contributions, Mr Cooper was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2014 and named West Australian of the Year in the Professions category in 2015.
