FUNDRAISING IN YOUR ORGANISATION

A great way to bring your team together is through a combined fundraising event. Across corporate locations and in hybrid workplaces with more people working remotely, raising money for a cause close to everyone’s heart is a great way to reinforce a culture of belonging and unity among your team.

So many people are impacted by cancer, heart disease, diabetes and rare genetic disease. Supporting medical research makes sense, is something that everyone can do, and it is a valuable investment of your collective time.

Corporate Fundraising Ideas

Footy-jumper Fridays, cupcake days, walk-a-thons, Hula for Heart, giving up coffee for a month, shaving your hair, swimming to Rottnest, running a marathon – the options are limited only by you and your employees’ imaginations.

As a Perkins Partner, we’re here to help. We’ll connect you with our Community Fundraising support crew who can help you set up a fundraising page, give you hints and tips on how to promote your event, and provide other guidance and support along the way.

Not sure when to run your event?
Check online for a list of disease-related days or themes and start there.

World Cancer Day 4 Feb
World Rare Disease Day 28 Feb
(29 Feb in leap years-the rarest day!)
World Heart Day 29 Sep
World Diabetes Day 14 Nov

Field Your Corporate Team

Your corporate team can participate in our fundraising events to raise money for vital medical research – Australia’s largest fundraising bike ride, the Cancer200:Ride for Research in October, and the Walk for Women’s Cancer every April. Both events are epic in nature and involve members of the community going to super-human ends to raise money for research into some of the hardest-to-treat cancers.

It’s easy to register your team, set your fundraising goals, set up a team fundraising page and demonstrate that you are working to support the health and wellbeing of your community.
