About the Role

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in raising life-saving research funds by securing, managing, and expanding corporate relationships for our three major events. You will play a pivotal role in not just meeting but exceeding our fundraising goals through innovative partnership strategies. You will also work with the wider team to provide leads and grow engagement with the cause.

You will be responsible for expanding our corporate network and enhance our fundraising efforts through developing genuine meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships for our three major events – the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins, the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer and the Perkins Plunge, Powered by Min Res.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase Fundraising Revenue through Partnerships: Develop and implement strategies to achieve year-on-year increase in fundraising revenue from corporate partnerships. Identify and secure new partners while enhancing the value provided to existing ones.
  • Growth and Engagement of Corporate and Community Teams: Expand the active involvement of corporate and community teams and increase their fundraising contributions. Organise engagement opportunities that encourage higher participation and contribution. You will also serve as the Ride Guide for teams.
  • Strengthen Sponsorship Retention and Satisfaction: Ensure a 90% retention rate of sponsors and secure at least two multi-year agreements. Maintain excellent sponsor relations through regular updates, fulfilling commitments, and aligning partner needs with our strategic goals.

About you

  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to strategize, set and achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Passion for medical research.
