Exploring Mutations

For teachers wanting to improve their knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, and mutations.

Designed to address the current curriculum. Your course covers:

  • a recap of DNA, DNA Replication & Protein Synthesis
  • exploration of the different types of mutations
  • investigation of the causes and effects of mutations and their role in human disease and evolution.

The session includes using lab techniques, the role of sequencing, and bioinformatic tools in mutation identification.
