“Artificial Intellligence in Epilepsy Neuroimaging”
Heath Pardoe is an imaging scientist and Associate Professor at the Florey Institute for Neuroscience and Mental Health. His primary researchn interest is computational analyses of neuroanatomical MRI with a focus on epilepsy. He develops and applies statistical methods, including artificial intelligence techniques, to imaging datasets to identify the origins and progression of disease and healthy aging in humans. These methods are used to identify factors that contribute to epilepsy-related brain changes and assist in surgical planning for individuals with severe epilepsy.
