I was born in Canberra and raised in Perth. I have over 15 years of experience as a cancer biologist with expertise in genomics, proteomics, and statistics. I have been fortunate to live all over the world (Canada, America, Hong Kong, and Australia) and have experienced a variety of cultures and people. I am currently working with others in this team to expand our ~10-year-old Aboriginal cancer research program as well as build on existing research interests in breast and other cancers.

I am passionate about ensuring the cycle of community involvement and research is realistic and transparent. I plan to ensure that research outputs for community are meaningful, timely and widely distributed.
