Client Liaison Officer (Genomics WA)

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Genomics WA, this role will focus on expanding the reach and reputation of our services by developing and executing outreach strategies.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing marketing and business development strategies
  • Identifying and engaging with new clients in the academic and commercial sectors
  • Creating content for website, newsletters and social media
  • Managing website content, newsletters, and social media accounts
  • Organising and representing Genomics WA at events and presentations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to prepare quotations and promotional material
  • Gathering and reporting on client feedback and performance data

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Qualifications or demonstrated experience in marketing, communications or business development
  • Knowledge of genomics or experience in marketing science-based services
  • Proven ability to simplify complex topics for broader audiences
  • Experience managing digital platforms and campaigns
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
